is the director and original founder of the Pachi Tanglang Martial Arts Association, which encompasses the styles of Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu, Pachi Chuan, Pikua, Hsing-I and Tai Chi. Master Su also holds a Doctorate in Chinese medicine and teaches Chinese Philosophy. As a disciple of the legendary Chinese martial artists Chang Te-Kuei, Wei Hsiao-Tang, Li Kuen-Shan and Liu Yuen-Chiao, Master Su began his study of at an early age. A Chinese national kung-fu champion by the age of fourteen, he was dubbed "lightning fist" by the martial arts community and has since been known by that name. In 1968, he won the all-around Gold Medal as a member of the Taiwanese national team competing at the International Martial Arts Championship in Malaysia.
Master Su Yu-Chang is the author of five books on Chinese martial arts and philosophy, as well as six instructional videos on Mantis, Pachi, Pakua, and Tai Chi. Pachi Tanglang Martial Arts has branches in Taiwan, Japan, Spain, New York, Venezuela, Malaysia, Switzerland, Norway, Colombia, Argentina and Holland.
